Configure Starsiege: Tribes Master Servers

To use these master servers in Starsiege: Tribes, add the following lines to your clientPrefs.cs file. This file is located in the config folder of your Tribes installation directory.

Step 1 — Locate Config File

Find clientPrefs.cs in your Tribes installation:

C:\Dynamix\Tribes\config\clientPrefs.cs

The path may differ depending on your installation. Open this file with a text editor such as Notepad.

Step 2 — Update Master Server List

Find the lines starting with $Server::MasterAddressN and replace them with the following:

Loading master server list...

Step 3 — Save and Launch

Save the file and launch Starsiege: Tribes. The game will now query these master servers for the server list.

Alternative — In-Game Console

You can also set master servers from the in-game console (press ~ to open). Enter each line below, then run exportVariables("config\\clientPrefs.cs"); to save.
